Kingsport, Tennessee, is a manufacturing town in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Home to generations of industrial workers, it is home to an ammunitions plant that manufactures explosives that the US military relies on. It has long been a Republican stronghold and many voters there say they still plan to support the Republican Party, despite concerns about the economy and promises of no more wars. Shillong: Two brothers were killed and at least eight others injured after lightning struck during a football match at Mawsnaphvir village in Meghalaya’s West Khasi Hills district on Tuesday.The incident occurred around 3pm, when heavy rain and lightning hit the area.
