New Delhi: Delhi govt has extended the 100% waiver on late payment surcharge (LPSC) on outstanding water bills for domestic and non-domestic consumers till March 31, 2027, giving consumers the last opportunity to clear their dues without paying the accumulated penalty.The waiver was to end on Aug 15. The extension comes after more than 5.2 lakh consumers had availed themselves of the scheme under which Delhi Jal Board (DJB) waived LPSC worth Rs 3,261 crore. Hyderabad: Telangana ranked seventh among 20 major states in capital expenditure (capex) spending during the first quarter of FY27, utilising 13.9% of its annual allocation, according to an SBI Research report. The performance was above the 20-state average of 10.5%, even though capital expenditure accounts for ₹47,267 crore, or 14.6% of Telangana’s ₹3.24 lakh crore total Budget estimate for 2026-27. Police suspect 33-year-old Nitin Chauhan suffered a cardiac arrest.
