Prayagraj: A 28-year-old woman, Kabotara Devi, and her three-year-old daughter were run over by a goods train near DFC railway line at Umapur village under the limits of Manda police station on Saturday.The woman, along with her daughter, had gone to buy medicines, said police. On the way to the medical store the girl slipped away from her mother’s grip and started running on the railway tracks. The woman ran to save her daughter and they both came under the wheels of the goods train. Both died on the spot. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem. Source link
