Margao/Ponda: State govt on Thursday unveiled a revised Kamdhenu Scheme and higher milk procurement incentives for dairy farmers.Chief minister Pramod Sawant announced the measures at a programme organised by the department of animal husbandry and veterinary services in Ponda.Under the revised scheme, subsidy cover has been doubled — from 10 cows to 20. Daltonganj: Two youths were killed after being struck by lightning in Latehar town on Thursday afternoon, officials said. The incident occurred near KGBAV Bajkum around 12.45 pm amid inclement weather. The victims were identified as Piyush Kumar (20), a resident of Dharampura locality, and Pawan Sahu (18) of Chandandeeh locality.
