Silchar: Sribhumi police seized 5,800 suspected Yaba tablets near the India-Bangladesh border in Patharkandi on Wednesday night.Acting on intelligence, a Patharkandi police team set up a naka near the Lakshmipur gram panchayat office and intercepted an auto-rickshaw. A search led to the recovery of the tablets concealed in the vehicle, police said.Police seized the tablets, the auto-rickshaw and a mobile phone in the presence of witnesses.
