Silchar: Hailakandi police have recovered 500 more cartons of stolen soft drinks in overnight raids, taking the total recovery in the cargo theft case to 1,510 cartons. Two persons have been arrested so far.Police said the recovery was made during separate raids conducted between Tuesday night and early Wednesday at Borjurai and Nunkhuli villages. The arrested accused, identified as Islam Uddin Laskar, 38, of Hailakandi, allegedly concealed part of the stolen consignment.
