Prayagraj: Seventeen passengers had a narrow escape after a private bus caught fire following a collision with a divider near Dharwara village on the Karchana-Kohdar route on Wednesday, police said.DCP (Yamuna Nagar) Vivek Chandra Yadav said the bus was travelling from Koraon to Prayagraj with 17 passengers on board when it hit a divider and caught fire.“All passengers managed to get off the bus safely before the fire spread. Gurgaon: The centre govt has asked the Haryana govt to clear an encroached stretch of protected forest after finding that a private logistics company had occupied 0.0122 sqm more land than it had sought to divert for its proposed warehouse. Silchar: Hailakandi police have recovered 500 more cartons of stolen soft drinks in overnight raids, taking the total recovery in the cargo theft case to 1,510 cartons.
