Hyderabad: A 32-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday for sexually abusing a four–year–old girl in Malkajgiri. Police registered a Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (Pocso) case.According to police, when the kid was playing on the ground floor of their apartment, the accused lured the girl by offering chocolates and subsequently, he molested the girl.When the girl’s mother learnt about the incident, she lodged a complaint with the local police station. Kanpur:The National Green Tribunal (NGT), Principal Bench, New Delhihas directed the state govt to file a further compliance affidavit within four weeks in the ongoing cases concerning chromium and heavy metal contamination affecting Kanpur Nagar, Kanpur Dehat and Fatehpur.The Tribunal noted that state government has released Rs 2.65 crore to IIT-Kanpur for a comprehensive scientific assessment involving environmental sampling, groundwater and soil investigation, and mapping of contamination hotspots.
