Flood mitigation study starts Surat: The Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) on Wednesday launched a hydrology survey to tackle flooding caused by overflowing creeks, with plans to develop a detailed 3D model to guide future flood mitigation measures.As part of the first phase of the LiDAR-based study, drone-mounted cameras are being used to capture high-resolution images of creek corridors. Vadodara: The special operations group (SOG) of Panchmahal police on Wednesday arrested two men for allegedly trafficking cannabis. Police said they had received a tip-off about the accused after which they kept watch in the Damavav area of Godhra.
