Ranchi: The Jharkhand high court on Wednesday directed the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) to file its response in a petition challenging re-examination of the middle school teachers’ appointment process.Petitioner Arpana Kumari mentioned that due to errors in the examination process, the candidates should not be pushed for re-examination. The JSSC, in an earlier notification, said re-examination would be conducted for 2,819 students, whereas in its affidavit filed before the high court, it said the 2,837 candidates will take re-examination. T’puram: The state govt has granted permission to National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to excavate sand from Muthalapozhi harbour at its own expense for the ongoing six-laning of NH 66.According to govt order, the dredged sand will be used exclusively for construction work on the Kadambattukonam–Kazhakkoottam stretch of the NH 66 project.
