Bokaro: The water level at Tenughat Dam decreased on Monday, with the reservoir recorded at 846.80ft (258.10 mt) as against 852ft on Sunday, according to the reservoir level report issued by the Tenughat Dam Division authorities.The reservoir recorded a gross storage of 38,441 hectare-metres and live storage of 22,236 hectare-metres on Monday as against 44,526 hectare-metres on Sunday, dam authorities said.Water is being released from Tenughat Dam at 7,250 cusecs per second. Thiruvananthapuram: KSRTC has been directed to ensure insurance for people injured in accidents involving its buses and to ensure that the benefits are provided without delay. SHRC chairperson Justice Alexander Thomas issued the directive to the KSRTC MD while considering a complaint alleging that nearly half of KSRTC’s buses were operating without insurance cover.
