A fresh political controversy has erupted in Assam after Riniki Bhuyan Sharma hit back strongly at allegations made by Congress leader Pawan Khera. Reacting to claims regarding her passports and the Chief Minister’s election affidavit, Riniki Bhuyan Sharma accused the Congress of running a sustained defamation campaign using “AI-generated” and “photoshopped” content. She alleged that her family, despite not being involved in politics, has been repeatedly targeted over the past two years.
