Srinagar, Mar 09: The Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party on Sunday expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Mohammad Hashim Khan of Iqbal Abad, Bemina, and extended condolences to the bereaved family.
According to a party statement, the deceased was a close relative (samdhi) of Apni Party Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir and the father of his son-in-law, Muhammad Fareed Khan.
A party delegation led by Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari visited the residence of Muhammad Fareed Khan in Bemina to offer condolences and express solidarity with the grieving family.
The delegation met the bereaved members and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul while expressing sympathy during this difficult time.
Those who accompanied Bukhari included Chairman of the party’s Political Affairs Committee Mohammad Dilawar Mir, Provincial President Kashmir Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Chief Spokesperson and State Secretary Muntazir Mohiuddin, District President Ganderbal Javaid Mir, Provincial Publicity Secretary Kashmir Muzaffar Ahmad Reshi and several other party leaders and office bearers.
Earlier, Bukhari also expressed grief over the demise through a message on social media. In his message, he said he was saddened to learn about the passing of Mohammad Hashim Khan, who breathed his last at his residence in Iqbal Abad, Bemina.
Bukhari extended heartfelt condolences to Ghulam Hassan Mir, his son-in-law Muhammad Fareed Khan and other members of the bereaved family.
He prayed that the Almighty grants the departed soul the highest place in Jannah and gives strength and patience to the family to bear the irreparable loss.
