Ahmedabad: Following delays due to pending approvals for several pharmacy colleges in Gujarat, the admission committee has announced a revised schedule for pharmacy admissions. Earlier, the mock round was initiated on June 17, but the process was halted midway over the pending approvals. According to the new schedule, students who missed the earlier registration process will now get another opportunity to do so by July 3. The updated merit list will be published on July 10. Mock round choice-filling will be open from July 10 to 13, and the results of the mock round will be declared on July 15.The first round of choice-filling will be held from July 15 to 17 and college allotments will be announced on July 19. The new academic session is expected to begin on July 29. Details of the seats vacant after the first round will be declared on July 27. The second round of choice filling will be held from Aug 5 to 7, and seat allotments will be announced on Aug 9. Currently, Gujarat has around 110 pharmacy colleges offering 11,000 seats in degree courses and 2,500 seats in diploma pharmacy courses. However, if approvals for the colleges awaiting them are not granted in time, the admission schedule may undergo further changes.
