Hyderabad: The Telangana high court on Wednesday directed the GHMC to consider a representation on the alleged construction works taken up by Caffe Jubilee at the premises of Jubilee Hills Co-operative House Building Society. The HC directed the civic body to take action in three weeks on the representation in accordance with the law.Justice NV Shravan Kumar passed the directions while hearing a petition filed by two members of the society, who alleged significant building violations and unauthorised commercial activities by the society and sought directions to the GHMC and other authorities to act on the violations.The petitioners alleged the society misused its community hall for commercial purposes open to the public, in violation of sanctioned building plan. They stated the GHMC granted permission in Nov 2013 for a structure consisting of a sub-cellar, a parking cellar, and two upper floors intended exclusively for a community hall for society members.
