Vadodara: The Detection of Crime Branch (DCB) arrested Rakesh Parmar, accused of cheating a private company of Rs 14 crore, after he was on the run for 12 days following a complaint at Bapod police station.Police said Parmar, an accountant at a company in Sardar Estate, misused his position from 2022 to show fictitious purchase transactions worth crores and siphoned the money into his personal accounts.When the company discovered the fraud, Parmar went missing. He was later traced to a village in Aravalli district, where a DCB team apprehended him.
