Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. has expanded its general corporate practice with the appointment of Namrata Bhagwatula and Aneesh Gupte as partners. Prior to joining SAM, Bhagwatula was counsel at Trilegal and Gupte was a partner at Desai & Diwanji.
Bhagwatula brings over 11 years of experience in private equity investments, mergers & acquisitions, venture capital investments, and general corporate advisory. She has advised on a wide range of high-value and complex transactions across sectors including renewable energy, healthcare, technology, and telecom.
Gupte has extensive experience in domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, private equity investments, venture capital and early-stage investments, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, restructuring and general corporate law.
