Due to intense heatwave, govt schools will run classes from 7.30am to 12.30pm from Tuesday.
An order issued by director, basic education, Pratap Singh Baghel, stated that all schools run by the UP Basic Education Council will operate from 7.30 am to 1.30 pm.
However, teaching will only take place till 12.30pm. The morning assembly and yoga will be held from 7.30am to 7.40am.
Students will be distributed food under PM Poshan (formerly mid-day meal) from 10am to 10.15am. Between 12.30 to 1.30 pm, teachers will finish administrative and other pending academic work.
