Mumbai: Police have arrested a security guard, Pradip Gupta (30), as the 10th accused in the Goregaon concert drug case that led to the deaths of two MBA students on April 11.Gupta, employed by a third-party event organiser, allegedly allowed the main accused, Ayush Sahitya, and others to enter the venue without tickets for a bribe. Police said CCTV footage and call records showed Gupta was in contact with Sahitya and co-accused Vineet Gerlani and took Rs 1,000 to facilitate entry for drug delivery. Sahitya, arrested while allegedly attempting to flee to Goa, is suspected to be the main supplier in the case.Gupta, who was responsible for checking passes at the venue gate, was remanded in police custody till April 24. Police are investigating whether other security personnel were involved. So far, 10 people have been arrested. Several accused have been sent to judicial custody, while others, including Sahitya and Gerlani, remain in police custody. —V Narayan
