We are grateful to the UP CM and the entire state for their support.”Yogi said that momentum is generated by combining mass and velocity and with a population of 25 crore, UP is already sitting on substantial mass while the velocity is going to be provided by the double-engine govt at every step. “All we have to do is provide the right skill set to the 14 crore youths to accelerate UP’s growth,” he added.Going back to the past, Yogi said that nine years back it was difficult to distinguish between roads and potholes, the state suffered from an identity crisis, poor connectivity and weak law and order, resulting in a lot of apprehensions among the investors. “But now we have 16 operational airports, metro services in six cities, the largest network of expressways, widened and better roads across the state,” he said.Recalling the contributions of the late Ratan Tata, he said the establishment of the Lucknow plant had generated employment for thousands.
