Kolkata: “Legally married; currently separated” — that’s what actor and Kharagpur Town MLA Hiranmoy Chattopadhyay (Hiraan) has declared in his nomination affidavit while mentioning the name of Anindita Chattopadhyay as his spouse.Earlier, Anindita filed an FIR accusing Hiraan of mental and physical cruelty and of entering a second marriage without divorce, after photos surfaced of Hiraan and associate Rittika Giri performing Hindu wedding rituals in Varanasi.In the affidavit, Hiraan reported Rs 15 lakh cash and Rs 12 lakh of Anindita. His bank and insurance investments total about Rs 5.3 crore. He owns a car worth Rs 4.7 lakh, while Anindita owns an SUV worth Rs 5 lakh. He declared 20 gm jewellery worth Rs 4.7 lakh and his wife’s jewellery of Rs 18 lakh. Their combined assets are Rs 14.5 crore, with liabilities of Rs 2.3 lakh.
