Vadodara: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) distributed its tickets for district and taluka panchayats of Dahod and Vadodara on Thursday night.The party held long meetings of its parliamentary board to award party tickets as the last day for filing nominations is Saturday. In these two districts, the party seems to have gone with fresh faces.The tickets declared in Vadodara included 34 candidates for the district panchayat and eight taluka panchayats. Candidates were also declared for Padra, Waghodiya, Savli and Dabhoi municipalities. The declaration for the candidates for one ward in Dabhoi was not done on Thursday night.In Dahod, BJP declared candidates for 48 district panchayat seats and for 11 taluka panchayats. The candidates for 36 seats of Dahod municipality were also declared.
