Jaipur: A 40-year-old journalist was killed after a car ran over him near Rajasthan Information Centre (RIC) in Jhalana Tuesday late night. According to Sardar Singh of the accident police station (east), Devendra Sharma was returning home after work when a speeding car ran over him. Sharma was taken to a hospital, where he died on Wednesday. A resident of Bayana in Bharatpur district, Sharma worked for a Hindi newspaper in the city. A senior police official told TOI that they sent a team to examine the nearby CCTVs to identify the suspect. However, sources also said that the teams have been dispatched to seize the car.
