Patna: The body of an unidentified man was found outside the Patna Golf Club on Bailey Road in Pana on Wednesday night. Locals spotted the body around 9.30pm and alerted the police. The deceased was found lying on the ground wearing a dark blue T-shirt, blue jeans and red sports shoes, police said.Secretariat SDPO Annu Kumari said there were no visible injury marks on the body, ruling out murder at first glance. “Preliminary observations suggest the death could have been due to a heart attack or other natural causes, though the exact cause will be confirmed only after the forensic report,” she said.An FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) team inspected the spot, while the area was cordoned off. Police personnel from Secretariat, Shastri Nagar and Airport police stations were present at the spot. “The body has been sent to IGIMS-Patna for post-mortem examination. CCTV footage from nearby areas is being analysed, and no eyewitnesses have come forward so far. The deceased may be in his 40s,” she added.
