Kanpur: Two constables were suspended by the commissionerate police following a viral video that allegedly showed them at the birthday bash of a key suspect in a sex trafficking case.According to reports, a scandal rocked the police department as videos surfaced showing two uniformed constables, Deepak Chaudhary and Dharmendra Kumar, attending the birthday party of Rohit Verma, the main suspect in a sex trafficking case at Kalyanpur police station. The videos showed the constables mingling at Verma’s partyTaking cognisance, deputy police commissioner (South) Deependra Nath Chaudhary ordered the suspension of the two constables. A preliminary investigation was still underway. Chaudhary said, “We have suspended the two constables from the Sen Paschim Para police station.”tnn
