Prayagraj: With the objective of ensuring transparency and malpractice-free conduct of examinations, the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), has set up a hi-tech Integrated Command and Control Room at the commission’s Prayagraj office.The control room was inaugurated by the commission’s chairman, Prashant Kumar, on Tuesday.Through this, every room in all examination centres—as well as the candidates present therein—during upcoming examinations would be monitored using state-of-the-art AI cameras. Continuous surveillance would be maintained over the centres and their immediate surroundings to ensure that any form of irregularity can be detected immediately.From this control room, a live feed and recording of the candidates’ biometric attendance and verification process would be available at the commission’s office. This would ensure transparency of the examination process and enable the control room to initiate swift and effective action in the event of any malpractice.Managing director of the executing agency, members of the commission, the secretary, the controller of examinations, the deputy secretary, and other officials were also present.
