Ludhiana: A speeding Toyota Fortuner overturned near the BRS Nagar flyover in the early hours of Sunday, triggering widespread panic in the locality. The high-end vehicle allegedly lost control and flipped in the middle of the road around 2.30am. According to local sources, the impact of the crash was severe, leaving the SUV badly mangled; however, the deployment of airbags indicated the significant force involved in the accident.Witnesses noted that the vehicle was discovered lying upside down on the road following the collision. Despite the alarming intensity of the crash, the sole occupant of the vehicle managed to escape without sustaining any serious injuries. The incident has prompted an immediate investigation by local authorities to determine the sequence of events leading up to the vehicle’s precarious position on the flyover.Police sources revealed they received information that the same SUV had allegedly struck another vehicle near the PAU gate earlier that morning. The driver reportedly fled that initial scene before eventually meeting with the accident near BRS Nagar.
