Amravati: A tiger was found dead near Maharashtra border in Pachori area of Khaknar range in Madhya Pradesh, adjacent to Dharni in Melghat. It is suspected that the tiger was from the Melghat Tiger Reserve. Pachori is located along the boundary of Ambabarwa Wildlife Sanctuary.Forest departments of Maharashtra, MP have begun a probe. Initial findings point to poisoning as the primary cause of death. A forensic team from Bhopal reached the site on Saturday. The exact cause of death will be confirmed after the postmortem report is submitted, officials said.
