HYDERABAD: A 29-year-old man allegedly died by suicide in a hotel room in Addagutta on Friday, a day before his planned wedding with his partner.The deceased was identified as Vanamala Lokesh from Cherlopalli village in Putluru mandal of Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh. He was employed at a pharmaceutical company in the Gandimaisamma of Hyderabad. He was in a relationship with a woman working at the same company, and the couple had decided to get married on Saturday. On Friday, the couple checked into a room at a lodge in Addagutta. Lokesh reportedly dressed in a wedding attire and later asked the woman to bring food. When she returned and knocked on the door, there was no response. As repeated attempts failed, she contacted friends, who arrived at the scene and, with the help of lodge staff, broke open the door. Lokesh was found dead inside the room. Police booked a case and are investigating.
