Bhubaneswar: Shaktikanta Das, principal secretary to the Prime Minister, visited World Skill Center in Bhubaneswar on Saturday. Das reviewed centres of excellence in vertical transportation, air conditioning and refrigeration, beauty and wellness, and hospitality, praising the institution’s modern infrastructure and industry-aligned training approach. Odisha chief secretary Anu Garg and skill development commissioner Bhupendra Singh Poonia accompanied him. Das also held discussions on workforce readiness, training quality and stronger collaboration among govt, industry and institutions to meet evolving global employment demands and future skill needs.
