Vadodara: A 21-year-old student of a private university in the city died after allegedly jumping from the sixth floor of the apartment where he lived on rent. The reason behind the extreme step is not yet known.The deceased, identified as Sairaj Haral, was staying with friends in a rented apartment in Madhavpura. He was pursuing a computer science course at Parul University.Residents of the apartment reported hearing a loud thud early on Saturday morning. When they came out to check, they found Haral lying in a pool of blood on the ground floor. His friends were alerted immediately, and he was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.A police official said no suicide note was recovered from the spot. He added that the friends of the deceased whom the police have questioned so far have not indicated any possible reason behind the incident.Bapod police station has registered a case and is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
