Amravati: Former minister and Prahar Janshakti Party president Bachchu Kadu has been accused of plotting murder of BJP MLA Praveen Tayade’s cousin brother, Abhijit Tayde, in a staged accident. Abhijit Tayade, who looks after party’s public outreach in the Achalpur assembly constituency, filed a police complaint recently alleging Kadu conspired to eliminate him due to political rivalry.The complaint states that Kadu discussed the murder plot at his residence in Kuralpurna in December, where Shubham alias Golu Mahore and others were also present. An audio clip of the purported conversation was submitted to the police as evidence.The Chandur Bazar police have registered a case against Kadu, Mahore, and an unknown person under sections 55, 58, and 61 of the BNS. The audio clip was sent to a forensic laboratory for verification. Countering the allegations, Kadu claimed govt is trying to silence him because he is planning to launch a movement for farmers and labourers. In a video message, Kadu claimed that the police action is a politically-motivated conspiracy to discredit him. The former Achalpur MLA claimed to have evidence of attempts to bribe and intimidate his workers to gather evidence against him. Kadu announced that he will embark on an Everest Base Camp expedition tomorrow and will not be intimidated by the arrest threat.
