Ahmedabad: Adani Total Gas Ltd increased the price of compressed natural gas (CNG) by Rs 1.50 per kg in Ahmedabad, taking the retail rate to Rs 83.77 a kg. The revision is expected to push up daily commuting costs, particularly for autorickshaw and taxi users. The increase comes amid sustained pressure on fuel prices, driven by elevated global energy costs and supply-side concerns following the West Asia crisis.
