Gurgaon: A 38-year-old driver died after his mini-truck rammed into a parked truck on the Binola flyover on NH8.The deceased, Arun Kumar, a resident of Mandoli in Delhi, had left for Khushkheda in Rajasthan with goods around 11pm on Wednesday. Police said his vehicle crashed into a truck that was allegedly parked on the road without indicators or reflectors.Kumar was trapped in the vehicle and sustained severe injuries to his head and legs. He was pulled out with the help of a crane and taken to a govt hospital in Pataudi, where he was declared dead.Based on a complaint by his family, a case has been registered at Bilaspur police station under sections 106 (causing death by negligence) and 281 (rash driving) of BNS.In another incident, a 26-year-old man died after being hit by an unidentified vehicle near Pachgaon Chowk on Tuesday night.The deceased, Sonu, a resident of Khoh village in Manesar, worked at a private company. Police said he was waiting for transport at KMP Panchgaon Chowk when a speeding vehicle hit him.He was taken to a hospital, where he was declared dead. His identity was established through a mobile phone found on him. After the autopsy, the body was handed over to the family.A case has been registered at Bilaspur police station under sections 106, 281 and 125 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety) of BNS.
