Calling the Malda’s incident as a conspiracy of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Banerjee said, “This is a conspiracy to cancel the election. It is a conspiracy of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. In the perspective of one incident, they are saying that the law and order situation in Bengal is disturbed.” Banerjee was speaking in Malda’s Sagardighi rally.

“For repeatedly failing in his duty to protect the people, for weakening law and order, and for playing politics with Bengal’s peace, Amit Shah must tender his resignation immediately. Bengal will not tolerate this vicious conspiracy,” Banerjee demanded in her X Handle post.
“The entire state has been maligned in the name of one incident in Malda,” the West Bengal Chief Minister warned the people of the minority, asking them to maintain calm.
“Please don’t go to the judges and we will fight in theTribunal. Have faith in me and trust me. Do you want Bengal to go to the BJP? Do not go and rush by listening to BJP. They are making you fools,” Banerjee urged the people from Malda’s Sagardighi public rally.
“If there is trouble, don’t step into provocation. Your sons and daughters will be arrested by CBI or police if you take law in your hands. I have no power now as nothing is in my hands,” Banerjee said at a public rally, alerting the people of the minority community. Also Read: Be cautious while filing nominations, new officers may reject them: Mamata to TMC nominees
Banerjee claimed a new set of top bureaucracy, hinting at Chief Secretary and DGP, have been appointed and they never apprised her of any incidents after their appointment by the ECI. Banerjee also pointed out that she was not even informed for once about yesterday’s Malda’s Kaliachak incident. “I am feeling very bad about the incident. I am not in a mood to deliver any speech,” she said from her Malda public rally.
“Let the law and order prevail. Chief Secretary, DGP has been showcaused. They are appointed by ECI. They have been appointed and they do not know about the geography of the state,” Banerjee said
“They removed and transferred experienced State Government officials and senior police officers who knew every corner of Bengal like the back of their hand. In their place, they imposed Central officers who have zero understanding of our geography, demography or ground reality. These outsiders are ill-equipped to handle local situations, and now BJP is using this isolated incident to malign the entire state and paint Bengal as lawless. This is unpardonable. If anyone is truly at fault, it is @Amit Shah,” Banerjee also posted in her X Handle.
