Ajmer/Jaipur: Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) released results Tuesday morning for its Class 12 board exams. This is the first time that Class 12 results were released in March by the board, and just 20 days after the exams concluded on March 11.The pass percentage for all three streams this year dipped compared to last year. This year, 97.5% of students passed in humanities stream, 93.6% in commerce, and 97.5% in science. Last year, the 97.8% students passed in humanities, 99% in commerce, and 98.4% in science.In science stream this year, the pass percentage for male students was 97.02% and for girls 98.3%. In commerce, 94.04% boys and 92.82% girls passed. In humanities, 96.68% boys and 98.29% girls passed.Releasing the results, school education minister Madan Dilawar said, “These results stand as a testament to the hard work and discipline of the students. Heartiest congratulations and best wishes for a bright future to all the successful students.”The minister also said that from this year, RBSE has introduced rechecking facility for Mathematics, Science and English; prior to this, only a retotalling facility was available.“This will enable students to have greater confidence in their results. Ensuring transparency remains our top priority,” he added.Didwana-Kuchaman district had the best result this year for science stream with a pass percentage of 99.4%. while Khertal Tijara performed worst with 89.90%.In commerce stream, Banswara, Dausa, Karuli, Balotra, Deeg and Salumber district had 100% pass percentage, whereas Phalodi had only 39.43%. In humanities, Rajsamand district showed the best performance with 98.7% pass percentage, while Dholpur performed worst with 95.4%.
