Gandhinagar: Mona Khandhar (1996 batch), additional chief secretary of food, civil supplies, and consumer affairs in the state govt, has been appointed as additional secretary in the department of social justice and empowerment in the Union govt, according to a notification issued by the appointments committee of the cabinet on Tuesday.In another central deputation posting, Arti Kanwar (2001 batch), the chief commissioner of state tax, has been transferred and appointed as additional secretary in the ministry of textiles.The Union govt notification also stated that Vijay Nehra (2001 batch) has been promoted from joint secretary to additional secretary within the department of health and family welfare.
