New Delhi: Two days after he went missing, the body of a man who was allegedly murdered was discovered in an open field in the Mungeshpur area of Outer Delhi’s Bawana on Tuesday.The deceased has been identified as Pradeep, a history-sheeter and bad character at the Bawana police station.According to police, information about an unidentified, decomposed body of a man was received at the Bawana police station. The body was later identified by Pradeep’s brother.Pradeep reportedly went to a local liquor shop with three associates around 2 pm on Sunday. The group purchased alcohol and proceeded to the Mungeshpur area. Pradeep then contacted his wife around 10 pm and shared his location near the Sohti-Kutubgarh road and informed her that his scooter had a puncture.“His wife approached Dariyapur police post on Tuesday and lodged a missing person report,” a senior police officer said.A case has been registered under Section 103 (murder) of the BNS and teams have been dispatched to trace and apprehend the accused.
