Sleuths of STF (Prayagraj unit) on Tuesday arrested a criminal wanted by Pratapgarh police in connection with Cow Slaughter Act case. The accused, Mohd Ibrahim, a resident of Puramufti in Prayagraj, carried a Rs 50,000 reward and had eight criminal cases pending against him in Prayagraj, Chitrakoot and Pratapgarh. The accused confessed that he, along with his accomplices, slaughtered many cows near Barsanda village under the limits of Dehlupur police station and threw their heads in the river on the night of Jan 16. tnn
