Nagpur: A case was registered against three brothers for allegedly duping a 60-year-old furniture seller of 2.10 crore by misusing a cancelled power of attorney to sell his agricultural land.Complainant Sanjay Jaiswal, resident of Dhurkheda, jointly owned a parcel of land at Wadoda, in Nagpur rural, along with other heirs. The accused — Ramanakar (56), Madhukar (54), and Srinivas Korpati (52), all residents of Mauda — were given a power of attorney for registration, govt work.The power of attorney was later cancelled. However, the brothers allegedly entered into an agreement with one Motilal Chaudhary, resident of Manish Nagar. They fraudulently pocketed 2.10 crore. Jaiswal came to know about the transaction after an advertisement was published in a newspaper. Cops registered a case against the brothers.
