Kanpur: Anurag Kumar of HBTU scored five points to emerge champion in the chess championship held at Shatabdi Bhawan on Sunday. As many as 27 players from five engineering colleges participated . Dikshant Ahalawat and Kumar Lourik finished second and third, respectively, with four points each. Former national chess player Bal Govind Awasthi gave away the trophies.
