Bengaluru: After a two-month break, Happy Streets took over Bhartiya City Sunday.In the debut edition at the township, the roads were filled with joy and energy from locals and residents of nearby neighbourhoods. The show of community spirit was surprising to some who popped in during their jog/walk through the community’s Central Park. It even generated interest from pet parents.The stage programme kicked off with a yoga and pranayama demonstration by Sarvebhavanthu Sukhinah Yoga, setting a calm and balanced tone. The intensity was later elevated with a Zumba workout and fitness dance session by Swingers Dance Inc, with participants across age groups moving to the rhythm.Sunday’s edition also featured a strong performance of traditional art forms, which had the audience vibing in excitement. Dollu Kunitha, a traditional art form of Karnataka, grabbed attention, bringing the young and the old together. The highlight of the morning was a series of vibrant, diverse dance performances by Thaalalaya Dance Academy, Divine Souls Dance Studio, and Stylish Chinna’s Dance Studio, which displayed moves across genres.For the young ones, the event had several engaging activities like painting, tug of war, and cricket with tennis balls.Happy Streets is presented by Bhima Jewellers, and its creativity partners include NeeRav Arts Village, Global Art Thanisandra, and From Mug to Mic.FUN FILLS STREETKaushal Kakkar & daughter Anaisha | from Bhartiya CityI was pretty happy with the event here in Bhartiya City as it showed the traditional way of teaching as well.
