GURGAON: The discom on Saturday extended bill payment deadline to March 30 for consumers affected by technical glitches in the DHBVN system.The glitches, which occurred between March 23 and March 26, left nearly 1,900 consumers unable to pay their bills using NEFT and RTGS modes. Of these, around 1,526 had due dates of March 25 or March 27. The deadline extension for these consumers was approved by DHBVN managing director Vikram Singh and consumers with registered mobile numbers in the CCB were informed via SMS.“The list of more than 1,900 affected consumers has been shared with the circle offices concerned so that regional officials can assist them at the field level,” said DHBVN spokesperson Sanjay Chugh, adding that any consumer who faced issues while making payments through NEFT or RTGS can report them at seit@dhbvn.org.in. Such cases will be reviewed and addressed individually as required.
