Thiruvananthapuram: Education minister V Sivakutty said he was ready for a debate with BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar on the developments in Nemom constituency on any day chosen by Chandrasekhar.Earlier Chandrasekhar challenged Sivankutty to engage in public demand on the developments in Nemom constituency. Responding to the same, Sivankutty asked Chandrasekhar to engage in a debate at Poojappura Maidan on March 29. However, BJP said the minister chose the day of Prime Minister’s visit to the state to avoid the debate. “We can avoid the debate on the day of PM’s visit. Let Chandrasekhar decide the date,” Sivankutty said. However, Chandrasekhar later said he was only ready for a debate with CM Pinarayi Vijayan. “Let the CM decide the date and time,” he said. According to Sivankutty, Chandrasekhar would score zero and he would score an A Plus if there was a debate over the development works that took place during the period of O Rajagopal and Sivankutty.
