New Delhi: A high-tech cheating racket was busted during a govt recruitment examination in Delhi, with police apprehending around 50 candidates, including 18 women, across multiple centres. The accused were allegedly using sophisticated gadgets such as micro Bluetooth devices and smartwatches to receive answers from handlers stationed outside the examination halls.The examination, conducted on March 24 by CBSE, were held for the posts of Hostel Warden (first shift) and Junior Secretariat Assistant (second shift) for Eklavya Model Residential Schools under Ministry of Tribal Affairs. The centres were located across east Delhi and Shahdara.During the search, officials seized concealed micro Bluetooth earpieces, smartwatches and other communication devices used for cheating. Preliminary investigation revealed that an organised cheating network operating outside the centres was transmitting answers in real time using these devices.
