Chennai: Actor Ranjana Nachiyar has filed a complaint with the Chennai police commissionerate alleging online harassment by social media supporters of TVK following her exit from the party. “My photos are being morphed and posted on social media, and I am receiving personal threats over phone calls using obscene language,” she said. Ranjana, who recently joined the DMK after quitting TVK, said that those behind the posts were part of TVK’s “virtual warriors” group and used party symbols on their profiles. “Due to these threats, women members are afraid to leave TVK,” she said.
