CHENNAI: TVK president Vijay lodged a complaint against political commentator Ponraj at Tamil Nadu DGP’s office on Thursday. Vijay was accompanied by senior leader K A Sengottaiyan. In his petition, the actorpolitician said Ponraj had been “speaking in a highly indecent manner, insulting women”, and claimed that he appeared to act with impunity.
“He appears to believe that no one can restrain him, and has been crossing all limits in his remarks,” the complaint said. Vijay has urged police to initiate legal action against Ponraj.
