PRAYAGRAJ: Police on Tuesday arrested three persons, including former SP MLA Ansar Ahmad, BMKS chairperson Kum Kum Dhar Chowdhury said, “This programme will be organised every month to promote Kathak and let youngsters know about our traditional dance instead of following only western dance forms.” the owner of the cold storage facility that collapsed in the Phaphamau area on Monday, killing four workers and injuring 14 others, officials said.The Phaphamau police had lodged an FIR against seven named and five unknown persons under various sections, including 103 of BNS and Section 7 of the CL Act, and constituted three police teams to arrest the accused.“Ansar Ahmed, his son Manzoor Elahi and nephew Alauddin have been arrested so far. They were produced before a court which sent them to 14-day judicial remand. Raids are on to nab other accused,” DCP (Ganga Nagar), Kuldeep Singh, told TOI. He added that the rescue operations were still underway. UP minister Dinesh Pratap Singh has ordered the suspension of district horticulture officer (Prayagraj) Saurabh Srivastava in connection with the incident and ordered a departmental inquiry.A committee, led by joint director of the department, inspected the spot and later recorded statements of injured.
