The morning felt slightly chilly before temperatures rose during the day.With mostly clear skies on Sunday, maximum temperature reached 27.8 degrees Celsius, which is 0.6 degrees Celsius below normal but 2.4 degrees Celsius higher than Saturday. The day remained pleasant, although the city experienced light winds. Around 4pm, wind speed was recorded at 5.6 kmph.According to the meteorological department, Ludhiana is expected to see mainly clear skies on Monday and Tuesday. From Wednesday to Thursday, weather is likely to turn partly cloudy, after which mainly clear conditions are expected to return on Friday and Saturday.The Met forecast suggests that day temperatures may rise to 28 degrees Celsius by Wednesday, then drop slightly to 27 degrees Celsius on Thursday, and increase again to 29 degrees Celsius by Saturday. Night temperatures are expected to rise to 13 degrees Celsius on Monday, remain the same on Tuesday, fall to 12 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, and increase to 16 degrees Celsius on Thursday.Residents said they noticed a mix of chill and warmth through the day. Kanchan, a city resident, said she felt a slight morning chill but later enjoyed the sunny and windy conditions. She described the day as pleasant and comfortable. Another resident, Gurjit Singh, said that with temperatures fluctuating, they were taking precautions and wearing adequate clothing to avoid falling ill.
