Bengaluru: An electric bus crashed into a wall of a depot office in the early hours of Friday after the driver allegedly failed to apply the handbrake while alighting from the vehicle.The incident occurred at Peenya depot around 6.40am. The impact damaged the wall of the traffic branch office and four two-wheelers parked nearby.According to officials, the bus is operated by a private firm under an agreement with BMTC.“The incident happened in the morning. Fortunately, no one was injured. A BMTC building was damaged after the bus crashed. The private operator will bear the cost of repairs,” an official said.
